Travel Logistics to and from
Kachemak Bay Wilderness Lodge
Most guests visiting Kachemak Bay Wilderness Lodge fly into Anchorage. From Anchorage, taking a short, 45-minute commercial flight to Homer or a private float plane directly to the Lodge are both fantastic options.
For those wanting to take their time and enjoy the scenic 5 to 6 hour drive, renting a car is the way to go. There is free parking (up to 7 days) at the Homer Harbor where you can leave your vehicle during your Lodge stay.
For guests coming to the Lodge from another location such as Seward, our Reservations Manager will be happy to offer you our best options and recommendations.
The Lodge provides round-trip transportation to and from the Homer Boat Harbor to the Lodge, which is part of your all-inclusive stay.
Private jets can be accommodated at the Homer Airport, and private transfers can be arranged.
We highly recommend arriving in Homer a day or two before your Lodge stay and staying a day or two after.
